Identify the fitting and symptom

Describe whether the door drops, catches, leaks at its lower edge or has a loose handle. Hinge type, glass thickness and existing holes or cut-outs constrain the replacement choice. Include close photographs of the fitting and a wider view of the enclosure; similar-looking hardware may not be interchangeable.

Review seals and the surrounding enclosure

A replacement sweep needs to match the glass and bottom clearance. Water escaping from a shower can also involve tile falls, waterproofing or the door layout. Hardware or seal replacement does not address every cause. Chipped glass, loose wall fixings or movement in the substrate require assessment before the door is adjusted.

About this service

Questions before
the next step.

Can you replace a handle using the existing holes?

Potentially. Hole spacing, glass condition and fitting requirements must match before a replacement is selected.

Will a new sweep stop all shower leaks?

Only if the sweep is the source of the problem. The enclosure layout and surrounding waterproofing may need separate attention.
