Service suitability, location coverage and scheduling must be confirmed for your project.

Measure after the layout is fixed

Countertop levels, cabinetry, sockets and appliance positions determine the final outline. Templates may be needed around complex edges. Changes after fabrication can require a new panel, particularly with heat-treated glass. Provide the appliance specifications and do not assume one glass type suits every heat exposure.

Review finish and installation details

Back-painted colour can look different through the glass and under room lighting, so a sample is useful. Wall condition, fixing method, joint positions and clearances need coordination. The backsplash does not replace underlying waterproofing or appliance installation requirements. Confirm how exposed edges and adjoining surfaces will be finished.

Questions before
the next step.

Can outlets be cut into the glass on site?

Required openings should be measured and fabricated in advance. Heat-treated glass cannot be trimmed or drilled after tempering.

Can glass be installed behind a cooker?

Suitability depends on the glass specification, appliance instructions and required clearances. Those details must be checked first.
